can't talk to ecm class 2 issue

So I haven't been able to tune my ecm since I put it in and flashed in a tune so it would drive and run fine it kept saying ecm has rearmed or boot loader rejected pulled radio fuse no change.

So I make a appointment with the dealer to have them do a flash and erase everything and start fresh.... again..... but even the tech 2 won't talk to the ecm it starts to talk then gets booted out like the v2 did and we both messed with it and took my aftermarket deck completely out to rule it out and still nothing? could this ecm be bad already?

I also don't remember if I used a file I built off the new stock tune in the ecm or if I flashed one of my old tunes into that ecm which may be the issue cause I'm pretty sure the last ecm had a corrupt file as it just start stopping mid flash and booting me out.

I have no remote start or anything in the can bus system other then my deck. And never had a issue till my last ecm died so I'm kinda stumped everything has power like it should I can read codes fine log things fine but won't flash.

Anyone got any ideas to try other then another damn ecm

Can you read codes or data from the ecm?

If not, I would check your obd2 port at pin 6 and 14 and check your ohms. If it's around 60 ohms OK, if your at 120, then a fusable link is blown.

If its ok, I would check the class 2 data wire at the obd2 port and at the ecm to make sure its 0 ohm

Yes last paragraph of my first post I said i can read and clear codes and log still

This is pissing me off to no end :mad: I nor the gm tech 2 will work flashing this thing we have power grounds are good ahhhhh!! Going to burn it to the ground

Just flash it in another truck then install it in the one that won't let you flash it...

Have you tried a bench harness? They are easy to make. You can use connectors from any ls1b pcm just go to the junkyard and find an s-10, astro,express, or truck from the early 2000 and cut the pcm connector out of it. I don't remember if you need the red or blue one off hand, just look in the efilive help file
