To make an LMM into an LBZ, you have to swap over to an LBZ ECM. Then you run into the problem that LMM uses all CAN bus for vehicle coms, and LBZ uses CAN BUS for ECM, TCM, and GPCM, but uses standard class 2 data bus for most of it. Basically the LBZ and LMM use 2 completely different languages for the vehicle control systems. Ben did a nice write up here somewhere on the differences awhile back.
did you test for boost leaks??? ive seen a new truck have a leak at the inercooler...
Just tuned a LMM with a DSP5 from Rob, you can't tell the difference from tune 1 to 5, lined up next to my LML there is only about 2 truck lengths difference from tune 1 to 5 and it's suppose to be a 100+hp difference... I am thinking I may have ran into one these damn LMM's like everyone else is having trouble with
