Ok, im tryin to mess with the spark timing on this damn HHR and every time i get to 5600-5700 rpm, knock retard kicks in and drops my advance by 2-3 degrees. IAT is zeroed and im not sure what else i should look at. 24 degrees is about all she can take before knock kicks in but even if i drop it to say 21 degrees the knock retard kicks in and the same rpm and reduces it some. Also, pasting in the good fuel table into the bad fuel table didnt help lol. it didnt pull as well as before even with 91 in the tank (im sure thats not enough octane though).

Geez this thread might get more post then "one word" If you guys do go it would be cool to see some video at the track James is that 2.2 an ecotech? those things will take alot of abuse and h.p.
Oh vid will come of the track as well. Brian said he'd give steve the sexual favors needed for steve to video tape and mess with tuning :rofl:
. Yeah its the 2.2 ecotech. they definitly take some abuse. there is a whole desert racing class centered around that motor (trophy lite class) lol. GM just put waaaaay too much crap in this ECM
