I have the tracking info. USPS stopped scanning after it left the origin post office. Tracking numbers mean nothing at that point.

I did not have any options on shipping mostly because the seller included shipping and I figured it would be reliable

Was the seller an individual? Maybe you can show them the tracking and come to an agreement. Maybe, they can go to the original post and investigate a little bit. I realize the package probably has no insurance, but there has to be some recourse if they just stopped tracking. One would think it should be close to the last recorded track. The blame clearly is on the post. I would call around and ask nicely until I get someone willing to help find it.

Can I ask how a "buyer beware" thread turned into another "I hate UPS" thread? :hehe:

It really helps to know your UPS guy. I have 2 of them; one for delivered parts and one for pick up. I have their cell numbers. When I need something on their truck fast; I call them and meet them wherever they are. Great relationship with my buddies. I also take care of them at Christmas.:thumb:

Sounds very familiar. I do the same thing for my people. Saves them a lot of money in pickup fees and sure helps promote good customer service.

Another reason for my high level of respect for you, Mr. Lovrich. :thumb:

Thanks Tom.
I will also add that when my regular guys are off for whatever reason; the sub's are told to look out after me. Priceless.:thumb::D

Yep. My customers can still call me when I am on vacation or have a day off. They feel bad about it until I reassure them its "part of my promise to them". I then relay the info to work so the level of service doesnt change. I also tell my subs to call me if they cant find an address or have a question for the same reasons. I like to think I have higher standards than the company.

Tell your guys that I can appreciate their efforts to keep their customers happy and satisfied. We need more drivers like that. :thumb:
