Damn. We dont do things like that to others here. This isnt DF.

Damien, Id just send it in to be looked over/rebuilt by a good, reputable shop. That way you have an expert doing the work, and some reassurance it was done properly.

Haha, ain't that the truth, there's a guy on this site that sold me a set of push rods on DF and 2 of em were pitted to hell and back. Got the one of the push rods fixed to run and F-ed up and left my stockers outside so I have 15 MA's and one stock one in my motor, I was so pissed. That's why I won't buy used motor parts anymore.

Mine secretly took pictures of me when I was staring at my turbo on the kitchen counter. Lol. She swears that she is gonna post them on here. She calls working on Duramaxes "Truck Partying"...:spit:

Finally finished up this project. I have to thank my friends Justin and Chuck for their help/tools/shop. Couldn't have been done without em. Also Eric Gregg and Patrick @ ATS for sending gaskets on short notice. Thanks as well to Levi @ Turbo Performance Products for pulling through with a sweet deal on a blanket for my 66 charger and as always a smooth transaction and quick shipping!

Only driven the truck a few miles on the since but I'm lovin the 66. Spool is not much different than my 64 and it def sounds better! Also got my MBRP 3" polished pipe on. I like it but Brian was right, these things could stand to be 1" longer. Oh well it's on. Glad to have my truck back, even if it is in my garage and not on the street lol.
