I've been picking at my truck for a few weeks now. Got everything ready for the compound install -removing my starter, oil pan, and exhaust front pipe. The tear down was not nearly as hard as I expected. I did twist a up pipe bolt off in the turbo though. Now i'm waiting on a package or two from SDP:D I've been doing little odds and ends. I cleaned my fire wall and i'm also going to rebuild my hydro boost, flush my brakes, clean the evap coil, and add some cabin filters. Some picture of the progress.

A few pictures of the soot from the EGR. One of the parts in my bed.

Can someone tell me what the top bolt holds behind the fire wall? I loosened it to remove the insulation and I heard something fall behind the fire wall :eek:mg:

Also can someone tell me what the two black rectangles are on the out going fuel line?

I added some 1.5'' wheel spacers to the rear tonight. I think it looks perfect

I rebuilt my hydro boost tonight. You can see a lot of PS fluid draining out of the weep hole. Hopefully this solves my problem. A better picture with the wheel spacers installed. I cut the EGR riser off and capped it as well.

I cleaned up my frame and degreased what I could get to. The whole front end was caked up with PS fluid and oil. I used a combination of three brush attachments for the drill, putty knife, screw driver, and a air blower with a tee on it with a hose attached that I was blowing gas/air through.

Drivers side, front diff, oil filter, front, oil pan

I relocated the positive battery cable. There is plenty extra wire and I think its going to work good.

Some handy tools. I used the 3/8 air ratchet to take the bottom starter bolt off. The combination of extensions works really well to get it from the other side of the motor mount.

I was considering relocating the factory fuel filter to the frame rail. Think it would work?

And an update. The turbo kit shipped today:bananallama:

I relocated my factory fuel filter to the frame. The less under hood the better it looks I think!

Thanks for the reply. I thought it was a good idea but I wasn't sure if i'd have a priming issue or if something else about it wouldn't work. Did you reattach the fuel filter head heater wires?
