So when I pulled the old injectors, #4 had so much carbon blow by on it that took a lot of work to get it off the cup. I was going to get II threaded cups, but didn’t have time, and reused my old cups. Now under a load I can hear some sound, like one of the injectors is louder. I'm not pushing any coolant, so I don't think I lifted a cup, but I do have a lot of blow from the oil fill cap by under a load (more than I think just from the rings at 600 miles on the engine). Balance rates are all +-.25, except for #4 which is at +1, which is the whole that had the carboned up injector cup.
So have any of you ever come across a bad cup?

It came with a small card in the box that stated the torque spec with the ARP lube. I don't want to say a torque value because I am not sure. Call Guy, he could tell you if you don't have the ARP paperwork.
it was way under the factory, I forget what it was but not as much as I thought

Just an update, she has a little blow by, but has since day one and it has not gotten worse (you can only notice it with the hood open at night with a light), and I think that is just from the engine put together "lose" about 10-12 11 second runs at 8000lbs, about 18,000 miles so far and a handful of towing stuff up to about 8000 lbs and still going strong!.
Hope me bragging on her won't make it prove me wrong.. :roflmao:

And I did go replace that cup, for you guys with the lb7s, if the cup sticks to the injector bad I would just put a new cup in
