Just don't do it when the RPM's are low or when the trans will want to downshift. Try it in manual shift mode, 4th gear at 2200rpms or more to avoid trans damage. Remember you're trouble shooting...
I'd suggest you Take it off and wait for Ben to contact you. It sound like you've tapped all the right wires, so I don't know what to tell ya. Maybe post some pics of all the connections with the BCM plugs out, so we can see the pin locations and a pic of the brake switch connection. Ben tests everything before they're shipped, so if it is the box it's be a rare instance....
It will be light green all the time. Auto mode is blue. Locked is bright green. Turn the key on but don't start the truck, the light green light should be on. Press the auto button, should go bright blue. Floor the throttle and the light should go green and back to blue when you let off.
Which version do you have?
Mine has 3 buttons, green blue and red. Red is to force lock, blue is auto and green for stock/return to stock, or you can hit the previous button again to return to stock.
Dim green is stock, bright green is force lock, red is force unlock and blue is auto and locks when the throttle is at 95% or more.
In auto mode (blue led) when mine locks at 95% throttle the led goes green. Then if you let off it goes back to blue.
