But seriously Benny this isnt the first time you gotta get a handle on this to end the negativity sooner or later it's gonna bite you that is if if you're interested in countinuing on in the widget field.

Have you bought anything from Ben? Or is this one of those comments with no experience behind the words?

X2, I bought one of Bens lockup box/ tap shifter combo's with the LED display and works great! He shipped it fast and answer my questions in a timely manner. Thought all we have been hearing is negative thing's, how about some positive experience's.:thumb:

bought the high idle/ headlight saver mod from Ben...emailed him once or twice about additional parts from him needed to make it work... since I don't have a temp compass mirror...no response...so it sits on a shelf in my garage for 8 months now...not complaining...I just gave up...

I am willing to send anyone who wants to try a lockup controller one FOR FREE. If you like it, pay me. Otherwise, return it. The one requirement for this deal is that you have to be a regular member on the forum here...not someone who just signed up last week with 3 posts. Ill run this deal for a week

I was doing well, but ran into some problems in the last month or so and things started to slide and snowball out of control. I dont have any excuse, I got overwhelmed and in over my head with orders.

Another thing that is difficult is when people dont send me back their "broken" lockup controllers. 9 times out of 10 when people cant get their lockup controller to work properly, its because of a wiring issue or installation error. Im not saying ive never had a failed module, thats not true at all. But when people have returned "broken" lockup controllers, I plug them into my truck and they work just fine.

I would just like to say that I offered to take up Ben on his offer of take a controller for free and if it works you buy it for the regular retail price. Aug 6th I sent him a PM which he replied he would send it just needed my address, then PM'd me again and told me about his 20% off scheid's sale on the 12th, I replied that I dont have a problem paying FULL PRICE IF It WORKS and been waiting since, sent him another PM and no reply. I just think that he is loosing alot of customers with such shitty service which sucks since I would not mind using his products.....if I could ever get them

I know how the out of stock thing works, were always out of stock with the fuel filter adapters due to waiting on parts plus we have to buy in huge bulk to get a good price and its a lot of money up front to pay.... it sucks for customers but there is A LOT involved when making your own parts and when your not a huge company the money just simply isn't there sometimes and when the money is there we have to wait on others for parts We take pre pay orders too and that's just to hold their spot not insuring lightning delivery.

I contacted Ben about the free to try offer and he contacted me the next day and had it ready to ship. But he also told me he had a sale going and if I wanted the 20% discount I could pay up front and he would ship the same day. I paid late on the 15th and he shipped on the 16th and it was delivered on the 22nd all looks good, I plan on installing on the 24th and will let you know how it worked for me.

Well the install was fairly simple other than I am picky, so I had to route wires as good as possible, re-taped and put some wire loom on where possible. I also put a grommet in the hole I drilled in the firewall and kept all of the connections clean under the dash. Plugged it all in and I had the soft green light -whew. Took it for a test drive and after the temp came up I started playing with the lock up box and man this thing is sweet. I really like the auto mode (Blue Light). So this is my first purchase from Ben and it went good for me.:thumb:
