just for a weird humming....so far in almost every case, thicker oil has fixed it. a lot of these newer emmisions diesels are being run with 5w-40 syn oil for some reason and its just way too light for our motors

So what grade oil are you running to help prevent this?

Wonder if oil cooling could be a part in this. Im sure its very little, but after the temps I have seen, it wouldn't surprise me.

Add another one to the list. My cousin's snapped on his very first pass at the track 2 nights ago. Truck made 2 more runs and went 11.96@104. :rofl: Only has 13,000 miles on the build.

Yep! Same truck that DuramaxTuner blew up, then sent to Dave because my cuz didnt want pink slippers and his hack mechanic touching it again. 3rd time's a charm they say!

I don't know what those hack-jobs did. The first time it didn't even have any machine work done. I'll post an explanation when I have more time to type.

Hey I didn't eithier... but I was broke at the time and it was my only shot of getting it going lol. Still running luckily 65k later
