X2 On any RB Concepts motors! Thats a new one to me, usually the TRX 2.5-3.3 are know for splitting the rods! But the davis diesel conversion would be fun! The fuel is the sucky part cause you gotta order it or mix it yourself and that means you have to obtain a fair amount of pure ether. I'm actualy looking into it right now, otherwise ill order some aerodyne diesel. I have a .15ci Marz diesel engine for a small plane and just got a .30 Aurora diesel for a T-34 Mentor plane i built! Its a .40 size plane but the .30 should power it just fine! I'll prolly convert my other nitros to diesel if i realy like it. I got an OS .46FX tonight too!

For anyone wanting to see a true as built(non-converted) diesel, heres my Marz! Made in the 80's in russia, brand new! Will remove the venturi carb for a throttlable carb;) And a pic of my brand new T-34 Mentor thats in progress for a Diesel! Id have pics of the Aurora K-500 .30 diesel for it but its all disasembled for a freshen up. Its also an old 80's engine but was bench run once and not cleaned so after 25+ years, its severly gummed up and i need new bearings for it.......so it can live again in the T-34!:D

Chad were you guys running it way thin? I burned threw every Traxxas I had. I replaced them all with O.S.

We had alot of tuning problems with it, all do to a bad carb seal, and a couple loose head bolts. It kept burning through glow plugs, so we went to find out what the deal was. It ran great, would smoke white out of the pipe when ran hard, so it didn't seem to be running lean at all after we fixed all the air leaks. Oh well, time to upgrade. I'll post up what the new motor is when I get it.

Update, I guess I got an RC Tuner Rod, cause it was a broken rod that took out the piston, not running it too lean. I will get photo's tomorrow, but it was not pretty.
