I joined this site some time ago via a fellow duramaxer... FlyinElvis. And it has brought great joy being a part of it and great dismay... As I learn how expensive it is to tune and play and blow things apart. We all know the hardships... But its cats like you Greg that create a bunch of assholes in the common sport that can't be true sports! Get the fu*k off here. Your not needed nor welcome.imo!

Greg Hogue is a pox on Duramax racing in particular and the diesel sport in general. Anyone who would insult people like Brett, Rob and Russ should be shunned at all costs.

Ive been wondering if it would be a good idea for a concerned hobbyist to email all those "not-sponsors" stickered on his rail and link them to threads like these so they can see who they are really dealing with, b/c his real personality (not his "please give me parts" one) is very determental to all those business's reputation.

The shear fact that you've got a "lessor bracket" car calling you out should be a warning signal to you, but youre Greg Houge and common sense isn't so common in Hoaggie Land.

Hopefully Russ does line up against you. I dont think you get it Greg...win or lose that race, you lose Greg...gawd, when Russ wins the race tho, imagine what your sponsors will think...

Dude, like I've said in previous posts, I do have some respect for you and the time you have in the drag scene...but would you please shut up and just be a racer...prove yourself thru your actions Greg, not thru your rants of improperly spelled words put together with horrible grammatic structure.

You're not running consistently enough to make this bet Greg. Good luck, you'll need it, and a good car...

I am not going to waste hot air on this A$S. I can't even stand reading his post, since the I AM the Fastest, head of the diesel world, mainstream diesel racing, is watching me in his inflamed ego, ugly, 3rd grade English class drop out profile picture.

Admire?
No, not so much...

Kinda , sorta, more like...um, you can't fix stupid :baby:

It'd be different if his never give up attitude, was engaged with a wrench in hand, instead of a phone in hand and a keyboard under his fingertips

I say best 3 out of 5 hot pass runs will get rid of him. At any track to his likings.... Got any takers? I'd go if I was closer... Closest I got is Indy. Consistent time breakers are respect around here as well as those same people that share the wealth and knowledge along the journey.

I'm assured he is fast, but if need be bump it to 8out of 10 hot passes... Consistency is what we all like to see in a well built motor... Not to brag about, but to help others learn... Every machine shop is different and every tool isn't the the same from garage to garage, but when you can build a reliably FAST vehicle... That's the one that is respected... Not the jack that runs his suck about how he has been the fastest and will be if he keeps it together down the track...like Dimitri and the 6.7 guys.. Ya she looks good on paper and for the 6 sec on the dyno, but do it time after time like Brett. And be modest Bout it. That's all we are after on this forum. Help build each other and our trucks, for crying out loud we post pics of family and good times here, we do t bench top race race like other forums. F**k the dimes and lay down the times..... Again and again if ya want to be talked about and respected for a " fast" vehicle.

Ya know Greg, you're quite the interesting character, and the most disappointing and tragic thing about all of this is, you could be someone that was genuinely admired by the members here, and have more genuine support elsewhere, as well, if you just adjusted your attitude. Bcuz from what I see and read, as far as the forums are concerned and where the legit, and "in the know" enthuiasists are, like here on DD, this is the energy and buzz you tend generate

And that's sad.
It's sad that I'm taking the time and feel this strange need to write this too

It's sad because, judging by your sponsors, people in the industry you associate with and fundraisers you attend and put on and whatnot, "in person" I would wager you're a very charismatic individual. Judging by your time in the sport and industry its obvious you have passion for it. Judging by your 60' times and records in the past, your a pretty damn good track driver too. I haven't found record of you wadding it into a wall going down the track, either.

But none of that relates through a keybaord, your success doesnt matter if you try and lead with it as a self promoting TROLL, and its not transparent or implied. On the net it ts truly black and white and you need to be analytically correct. You can't be a "cowboy" online and get the same response youre used to in the physical world because your body language, smirks, smiles and voice inflections, don't play...your charm is limited to your vernacular and ability (or inability) to express and interact with it ...and if or when you're claiming to do something, you can't be expected to be taken at "face value" without the consistency of proof, and consistency period.

It really seems to me like you're used to being in control, having things your way, and not being questioned...and that's fine for you in your world...you're the driver, you're the spokesman, the owner operator, you're the driving force behind your team and business, as it should be...but you're not the mechanic, you're not the engineer, you're not the mechanical visionary, you're not the talent behind the wrench...and DuramaxDeisels IS NOT YOUR WORLD

And you need to stop acting like it, and embrace the things that you're blessed with talent for...because sir, you're in a VERY SPECIFIC atmosphere of people who are blessed with tremendous mechanical talent who have earned degrees, established successful businesses, enjoy(ed) successful careers from and have devoted their entire lives to diesel motorsports....and there's guys like me, enthusiast's who will spend their only dollar on a go fast part and install it in their gravel driveway, on their back, in the friggin rain in November in the Pacific Northwest... Just for a tenth of a second quicker ET in 1320 feet...

And we see through your BS and arrogance.

So when I say I respect you, I do
When I say, shut up and drive, post results and show us you working on something and doing something of value... I say it respectfully hoping you will, just to protect your own dumb ass and possibly gain some support
When I say I hope you do something epicly positive next year, I mean it Greg...cuz no one wants to see someone end up as a washed up, old, hazbeen racer

Just drive your cart man, post some slips, vids of the car and leave it at that.
Please stop.acting like you're an innovator of or spokesman for diesel sports, because your not, you work with them Greg, youre not one of them, there's a difference...

If you need a good example to structure your forum interaction by, AND YOU ACTUALLY WANT TO BE A PART OF this community, look up Mark Broviaks threads, Brett's threads, Verlon's threads, Rob's threads, look up peoples build threads...and oh I don't know...TAKE INTEREST IN SOMEONE ELSE FOR A CHANGE! But if you can't, just watch the videos and que into how people interact with the forum, take notes if you have to and bring something to the table that's similar...you want to appeal to the masses Greg? Then listen to them and do what they want...its not rocket science

Best of luck Greg, I mean that-
