Here is our last run on the dyno when we had the fuel sensor fail.

No wonder why my feet are warm after a 1/4 mile pass. LOL

Do you have a public link for these videos as I do not have a youtube, google or one of them facebook accounts. Sad it has to be this way when even private individuals stoop to collecting information using ADOBE FLASH PLAYER as to who and when views the video not to mention the second time I have encountered this tonight. Oh well, I'll find better things to move onto and guess I'm not missing anything......:dontknow:

Awesome work guys! Glad to see it running. Can't wait to see it make its way back to the track.

I know there's a lot of differences from the old engine, but normal theory is that less stroke needs less timing because of the increased dwell time at TDC. Of course comp ratio, cam selection, and even bore size affect this. Sorry just thinking out loud, sounds like a hell of a science experiment you guys having going on.

What top end parts are going onto this "temporary" engine?

Jeremy, likes to use Wiseco and Ross pistons. He's had great luck with both in high hp builds.

Shoo!

when do you think you'll get it back to the track?!

Not sure. HSP was waiting on some parts to show up. There is a race May 13 that I would like to make it to, but at this point I don't think I'm going to make that. I still need to put the fuel system on the engine and get it to Mark so he can dyno it. Then I need to get the engine in the truck and finish the low pressure fuel system, crank case breather system, trans cooling system and finish wiring the new circuit board and switch panel. Oh and go out and test to make sure my new suspension is going to work like I hoped.

I would not call this a "temporary" engine. If this one does what we want I may just keep this one. LOL. I think Jeremy fell in love with the other one that's in his shop truck now.
Being it's a Wagler built motor only the best heads would go onto it. They are the Wagler extreme LBZ heads!

Did y'all sleeve the 4.125 bore?

This engine or the destroked engine Jeremy is running DO NOT have sleeve's in them.

sneak peek at the new setup!!

never mind that ugly high pressure fuel line. It was for dyno use only. The new one will be much nicer. LOL

Are you still keeping the old engine as a backup?

Big changes to the suspension or just tweaks to what you had?

Nothing big, I put 6" long travel front coilovers on it instead of 3". I also went with a Menscer Motorsports double adj front coilover setup instead of the street coilovers that were on it.

Man I was hoping you would have been able to make it to Ennis this weekend!

I wish!! This is the second big race I'm going to be missing this year already. And unfortunately I'm going to be missing World finals and Rudy's later in the year because of weddings I have to go too.

good to hear all isnt that bad! Brett, that setup looks killer and soooo shiny :D :D

Wait to you see the finished product!! The guys at HSP don't share very many pics with me, but from the couple I've seen it's going to be bad ass.

Totally off topic, but whats the story with the canadian flag in the reflection off the turbo housing?

HSP has the American and Canadian Flag's flying in their shop. The Canadian flag is for FarmerDave and DieselmafiaLLY. DieselmafiaLLY hung it in their shop as a joke. I didn't realize it was in the picture until I looked at it later. Maybe Dave Burton can get one with the American flag in the refection. LOL

It's that shiny that's how far you can see.

LMAO!!
