I just videoed mine. It doesn't sound anything like that. Something is wrong. I can post the video for comparison said if you wish.

No blow by on mine with 280k on the clock. Actually sucks my hand to the oil filler tube a little.

I videod mine too, zero blow by and zero metalic noise...this is all after an entire season of running 12.0's@113 weighing 7000lbs and an entire season of dynoing over 750 horse haha.
Video picks up alot of wind from the fan.

If your PCV is rerouted, some blowby is normal as long as it doesn't have any pressure behind it. If PCV is still hooked up, blowby is a problem.

Noise sounds pretty normal from a phone. The blow by is definitely not normal. Did you have the heads pressure tested for cracks? I think you do have a problem. Keep a good eye on coolant levels and look for moisture indicators in your oil.

I have that same noise in mine with the oil cap off too. And I've heard it in others. Blow by does look excessive to me too. Sure your pcv isn't blocked or kinked somewhere?

Hmmm interesting input here guys. Nice to get different perspectives. My reroute hose does have a filter on it like an old school valve cover filter deal. Yea heads were checked. Hmm ill check that fikter out on it. Im gonna pull my buddies d max fill plugs off an inspect for comparison. Btw theres no pressure coming out of that fill tube. Just that smoke. And it is cold outside.

Yes take that filter off your pcv line. Mine clogged up and did the EXACT same thing. I had one of the small filters and it ended up clogging up and I couldn't figure out what it was until I started thinking about the filter. Popped it off and boom! Fixed it. Lol.

Depending on the oil you use you can get oil vapor that looks just like combustion blow by. You running synthetic or petroleum?

Sounds like somethong rubbing in the front cover. Blow by and haze dont bother me, my lmm did that too untill I took the filter off my pcv reroute as well. Plus my lmm would haze at idle when cold or real hot, I think its tuning related...

Get a long ass pry bar, screw driver or an actual stethoscope and put one end on the water pump cover and the other to your ear. I have a feeling you will hear the noise worse overall right there. Some of these new pumps don't have the correct gear mesh and make a nasty noise like you posted. Mine did this and gasuout had this as well as others. Listening to it will tell you right away
