I've seen with undisputed results the effectiveness of this process on high stress components. However these components were under 700+ ton of pressure for millions of cycles (nothing our trucks will ever see). But on that note, I thought,,, if it helps these, than why wouldn't it help our motors as well? Then after some research, I found other racers were doing it as well with good results (less failures). I'm not saying go into the light blindly. Do some research. But I think it will soon prove to be a very worth while preventative for the racer crowd as well as the DD (weekend warrior) that wants ever bit of help and durability his motor can get. It's not a save all though. Make no mistake. It just removes stress that are working against them selves in the motor.

My balancer was dead set that it needed to be done.
I did some research and found that alot of Nascar builds are done useing the tech also.

I dunno.....but if it helps even a lil bit i geuss its worth it:)

Did I miss where an round-about figure was thrown out on how much it might cost a guy to have something like this done to his assembled engine?

I don't know how much he would charge (not very expensive though) and I can't speak for him. I'll have to contact him. However if the motor is in the truck, it would have to be brought here. Most states have someone that has the machine if you search around. I would hate for someone to have to drive 1200 miles to get it done here if they didn't have to. I'll be out for about a week, but I'll drop a line to him to see if I can get a price on the procedure for you all that you can also use as a base line for other companies as well.

Ok. Here's what I found out today. He wants $200 to do the motor (even if it's in the truck). I'm going to build an adapter plate to bolt to the engine so we can just take off 1 wheel and the wheel well liner, then bolt the plate to the block and attach the machine to it. The process may take as long as 4-6hrs depending on the stress level in the motor. The graph will read out when it's done.
