Big News LML EFI Tuning Support

At this point mcc seems to be the more viable option. just my opinion cindy.
I have been an efilive guy for a while.
I am not at all interested in defining hex code digging for limit tables etc.
I just want to have a nice gui interface I can set it and forget it!!!

It was your suggestion to get your stock file from your source, not ours. I just told it like it was in terms of importing your stock file from your source given we have no way of assessing the file contents at this point. The stock file format that we've setup for importing into our software delivers the smooth streamlined interface that exists with all other EFILive platforms, the difference is the lack of OBD connection for this step.

Im not sure about you defining or using hex code, thats not a standard function of EFILive and never has been.

There are in excess of 300 tables mapped in our first release for customers to determine which parameters to modify and how much, The key is the scan tool, customers will ultimately need to determine how critical it is to measure the impact of changes.

Cheers

So what I gather out of this conversation is that the flux capacitor should generate enough kinetic joules to overcome the resistance of the discombobulator shaft in order to actuate the pulse width modulated canuter valve which in turn will cause the rotary girder to subliminally convert to hydrogen and we now have the first Hydrogen powered Duramax?

Cindy are you saying you would love to create a program so I can tune my TDI Jetta's with EFI Live?

All this talk about LMLs. For 50K I can go buy a Nice Kenworth and get the same MPG's and be more comfortable. Insurance and registration is a tad higher though.

Alright, I can just send it to Paul.
That works, sure send it over to Paul.

Sounds like that line out of Back to the Future....or the Mazda 3 advert that plays here in Australia

Jetta is something we've explored....but there are some road blocks. While the ECM looks the same as the LMM and LML, the programming is different. We haven't said no, but we simply don't have the time to pursue it and figure out if we can over come those road blocks ATM.

If I could buy an LML for $50K I would, unfortunately they are $115K in my neck of the woods. http://www.american.com.au/vehicle-stock/2013-chevrolet-silverado-2500hd-ltz

Just Ekotune the Jetta's. ;)

Ill be doing something some day to my ALH and the fiance's 2010 cup car, but my sisters is staying stock since it has the DSG and I think she could care less not to mention it would take a long time to pay back fuel savings when you already get mid 40s.

Honestly though, they all run decent which is why I have drug my feet for so long. My ALH is a tired car, had a rough life. Might just build it up some and run it on the road course thats near by. I think it would be fun.

Parts of the quote are Back to the future and parts are tommy boy plus some added pieces haha.

I don't know how big the TDI market would be but since I am used to how EFI operates its nice to be able to stay the same. Well I shouldn't say I am used to it, only end up using it like once a month now and usually have to spend quite a bit of time getting caught up with updates before it will work, then I get lost haha. No big deal though. I doubt the Germans would make the TDI's super easy to tune.

Ouch, I thought 50k was too much for our LML but it sits on trailers all day and gets 40k per year. Im fine with the stock power it has, but id rather sit in the KW, more comfortable. plus I can take a nap in the back if I get lazy.

Even more than my duramaxes now since they are all I drive.

Any support for ACERT Cat C13 and C15 ECMs haha. Wouldn't mind tuning them.

Yeah buy CAT ET and buy the passwords and have at it lol theres a guy around here with a 3406 putting 1100 at the drivers. he drives around with ET hooked up. the nice thing about it is it can be turned up and down on the fly with the laptop.

Well, the $115k does include right hand drive conversion. I wonder what all goes into that? Does GM make RHD GMT-900 parts, or is it full custom? That might explain the majority of the difference.

Is it not legal to have LHD over there? Might be cooler to keep it stock, just to be different than everyone. I have a few friends over here who drive RHD cars for exactly that reason.

With LML support coming down the pipe, I think I finally have a good choice to recommend to my Dad. His 24-valve is on its last legs...

interesting.. I use ET everyday but I dont do anything on the tuning side of things.

Pretty much its a custom conversion. The conversion itself runs around $35K. There are other things that need to be changed to be compliant, like seat belts and indicators among other things.

LHD is legal provided the vehicle is over 25 years old. Our 64 and 67 Caddy's haven't been converted, but thats not an option with late model vehicles.
