I read a lot about how heavy my rockstars are so I am looking at getting a new set of wheels for racing. What is the best or most popular wheel to run?

I'll pretty much echo what everyone else has said about the stock wheels. If you can't afford or don't want to buy a set of tires just for the strip, or you don't want to have to swap wheel/tires at the track, I have had really good results from street tires in a 265/75 on the stock wheels. Just don't get a mud tire. Anything else should hook decent enough to get you down in the mid/high 1.6s without too much trouble.

You ran the drag radials on the street without issue? Im going to be in the market for radials for next season and due to lazyness Id like to be able to play on the street with them after the track a little;) Do you have any bigger pics of how the truck sits with them?

PYOs and Proxes ST's is a nice combo that can be daily driven with no problems. I can say 100% that they do VERY well in the rain. It seems that A/Ts do alright also due to their softer compound. I cut 1.66 with A/Ts and 1.64 with Proxes. Regardless of tire, just get a set of PYOs and you'll be alright.

Would a set of the cheap factory steel wheels be lighter than the aluminum? I know steel is heavy but they should be allot thiner.

Anyone know what the factory aluminum wheels weigh? I have been looking at some aftermarket wheels that weigh 21 lbs. each but I dont want to change if the factory wheels are way lighter.
