Best wheel for racing

i've had dodge wheels on my truck for a while, went 12.40 110 with them and 285 cooper atr's, same night i brought a set of pyo's swapped them on and went 12.5 @110.8 but the truck was a handfull took them right back off

The factory steel wheels with 265/75/16 tires off my rig weighed in at 105 lbs each with no tread remaining

Yeah, I had always gone with the 4:1 ratio until I read that. I still believe that using less power to overcome inertia and get the wheels turning quicker off the line (plus traction, mind you) helps us go faster.

Pyo there is no stronger rim that can handle the wieght


I ran my m&h this year for street testing and theyheld up great! I'll never run slicks on the street again though I blew a front tire at 150mph this year:( to lazy to swap
