I never broke or bent a tie rod on mine before sleeves and centerlink. Heck i broke a CV shaft before i hurt a tie rod.
With my sleeves and centerlink my front end stays nice a straight.
My turning radius seemed worse and the tires seem to be on ice skates with my centerlink. Mine is a Crank It Up centerlink though.
