Wouldn't the Batmo wheel weigh more than a standard Billlet? I would think you would have to leave more material when machining a batmo in order to have the curved blades? This was my thought when I opted for the standard billet over the batmo.

On another site i read that the batmo actually slowed down his truck compared to a billet wheel. I will have to try and find the post but i beleive he said he lost a tenth almost. I believe it was a stock lbz turbo

i don't think comparing how it functions in a stock LBZ turbo is helpful to determining how it would work in a 475 application. it may be though, just the way I look at it

Today we actually tested this we didn't have time to test them all but we did test a double bat and a precision both 75 mm and the precision made about 50 more peak hp and over 100 everywhere else just telling everyone what we saw on the dyno

What were the turbine sides of each? not all the power is made from the size of the of the compressor wheel!

It's time for that road trip Jerome. Let's just go up and talk right to the turbo builder and see what they have to say. Too bad the precision is so pricey as they really seem to build some power.

waiting for someone else to give me a quote first:thumb:

thought i read this to, but it wasnt on a stock turbo. also was told that one of the "fancy" covers bullseye has lost hp.

BILLET vs. BATMO NO TUNING CHANGES..that's the only way to settle this..no one has anything on paper so myth busted, batmos aren't worth the money until proven..

to me what makes a bat mo worth it is the price. you get what you pay for. i know that a cloumbus charger or even something with a harts wheels is going to make more power, but at twice the bill. if a batmo is making the same kinda power with a run of the mill billet wheel s400 turbo, then to me its a simple decsion. i just want to know if it is before i drop a chunk of change on one. if its with in 50hp of and expensive turbo, it might be worth saving almost 2k then.
