I have been told the samething that the hp level the stock flexplates can take have not been defined yet. I would like to use my stock flexplate to save money on the build but i know my luck and mine would be one of the few that breaks

I torched one on a 500 hp tune. Got Juice scattered at least three on his twinned LB7 when he had it. About the same hp maybe a bit more.Who's seen failure of the stock unit, what were the conditions and power level?
Ugh. Wonder if I should add one in with the motor build.
Question is, which? If ATS only works with 5 star, and Banks isnt out yet, and Opies isnt exactly proven.

When you building? Mine is going in within the next month. I'll let you know. If it's like the rest of Opie's stuff it's bound to be pretty tough.
I was gonna say the same things, i doubt Opie would let anything out if it wasnt strong and proven
Who/What is Opie?
Got a link to somewhere for this magical thing I have never heard of?
The ats billet flexplate/flywheel should work with any Allison converter, you just use 6 of the 12 holes.
I thought I heard/read something somewhere that you needed to use a different bolt when you use a PI or SC converter with the ATS flexplate/flywheel as the depth of the mounting bolt hole in the converter is different. Or was it the thickness of the flexplate/flywheel was different-I honestly can't remember so I may be out to lunch on this.
Did anyone else hear/read this?
