07.5 LMM running a couple 500rwhp tunes. The MCR tune will drop 2000-2500 psi from desired fuel pressure between 26 mph and 80 mph. Below or above that it matches the 26107 desired fuel pressure. Some of the other tunes I've tried are much worse, but in the exact same mph range and with smaller commanded pulse numbers than the MCR tune. This is on a 1900-2000 rpm 4X launch from 0 to 100 mph.
So I started wondering at what point is the stock pump inadequate? Can it support this 500 rwhp tune or is it on the edge? If I need to help it out at this point do you do a shim kit, fuel rail inlet fitting, different regulator, pump, lift pump? My ultimate goal with the built trans would be to be in the 12's, this will never be a 10 or 11 second truck.
