What kind of Music do you like pat? And is it possible to beat Mike Dilhennay with our setup?

10% of all music is great.

It's the other 90% that bugs the crap outta me.

My radio is normal on Country Western, my CD's are a mix of different kinds of music.

Statistically your odds are good. His truck is wildly unreliably when he turns it up to run 12's. It's a 14 second flat truck without drugs.

If you can answer this question then I will finally know everything as you once did.

How many licks does it take to get to the tootsie roll center of a tootsie pop?

Hell, I'll give it a shot too.. What is the over kill psi of a LB7 Turbo? I've heard anything over 28psi is overspooling.. I like 31psi..But!! I ran 24psi just guessing adjusting my big head that GM F-ed up and it ran a 12.9:confused:

heres a good one-
does advancing timing create h/p and kill torque
in an otherwise stock lbz lets say i want more h/p and less torque output
other than increasing rpm how can i?

Seems the later LB7 chargers can handle more abuse, BUT nearly everyone who has set their boost at 36PSI or higher has lost their chargers. 40PSI is pretty much a guarantee.

So Pat, Does higher boost = more power,or O2 on a LB7 charger, or am i overspooling at 31? That's the ? of the hour:D I know i'd kill it at 36 or 40psi..:p

So Pat,
If the speed of light is 186,000 miles per sec and you are driving your truck 68 mph and turn your headlights on; how fast is the light beam going? :baby:

No, there is a "right" amount of timing for peak HP. Problem is, too many people raise the timing too early. It has to match the boost curve. Too much timing will kill torque only because it kills HP at the same time.

30 PSI is considered the "safe" boost for an LB7. You can make more power by going higher though, but the EGT's go nuts too.

If you want to play, perhaps turn the charger up to 36PSI and shoot some water meth in.

186k miles per second, relative to you, because your velocity distorts your timebase.

But if find the right hidden tables, you can actually catch up to your headlight beams I've heard.
