im running the s400 as a single on the lbz with stock sticks and cp3 spools up decent and runs 42 psi. was running stock turbo and a 125 nitrous jet ans this setup feels much better than that

I could be wrong but, wouldn't an S464 be the same thing as the BD(S364)
with just a bigger frame and the option of a t-4 flange?

ya, thats kinda what I meant.

then ya the compressor side is the same ... i think this would be a great turbo for a 2.6 class truck . it could take alot of fuel ...like duel fueler with alot less drive pressure and risk of over speeding .

I run the S400 ETT, little larger than what your interested in.

Spools slightly slower than a stocker, boost is tractable and smooth (helps when you mash it on the street) versus blowing the tires out. Most local charger shops can rebuild one or have parts for them and they are less expensive than other alternatives. I could tow with this but it would be a PITA.

The ETT and tuning is key.

Hmmm, can't speak to the T6.

I can say its a balancing act, T6 will lend itself to reduced drive pressure and higher RPM.

Good luck, I have had plenty of power with a larger charger and a T4.

Search a thread called "which charger is right for me"

still have a stock trans? If so build the trans for 1500 lbs of TQ while you get the stuff together for the twins.

YOu can put the 475 on the wing or out it at the fender wall, how fast u wanna go and how much you wanna spend?

yeah my trans is built sorry i havent filled out my sig yet.
trans consists of ATS triple disk, ATS pump kit, alto clutchs, transgo, Allison deep pan, amsoil sythetics. tuning im currently running a TTS extreme and have holley lift pump. actually just finished putting the engine back in and got it running tonight. about a month ago i kept getting low coolant light.. long story short my head gaskets let go. so i just got head studs put on as well. (so dont need to worry about those either) also a brand new (very low hour at least) stock turbo because mine was about ready to fall apart. <-- i will blame that on using a quadzilla monitor gauge which reads boost from the computer, which i just learned last week isnt accurate past about 30 psi! and running a ppe boost valve and have been having quite a bit of fun the last 4-5 weeks since i built the trans. so i pushed the stocker past its limits! so i got a very lower hour turbo from tony burkhart i figured thatd be my best bet if i plan on going twins to keep the stocker.
im not looking to take it to the drag strip or anything, but i'll be the only twin turbo d-max around the area that i know of which is cool and it will make towing my toy hauler and buddys pulling truck really fun :D:D

but all in all would that turbo i suggested be a good setup do you beleive? i plan on doing a build similar to the one that a guy did on here cant remember his name but he has about 7 page long thread in the turbo talk section about his setup he made. so i plan on putting turbo over fenderwell, going to get rid of fuel filter on valve cover and just run a fass setup or a cat filter on the frame rail. move battery to frame a coolant tank back to firewall.

im hoping that as long as i keep single CP3 and get the tuning dialed in good i shouldnt have to worry about rods or pistons....? but who knows i guess.
