I've heard rumors of a variable speed type trans, kind of like a hydrostat drive at some point. Anything to that?

I think to have a decent one, the weight would be too much. I have one in my Massey Ferguson 8670, and it is freaking sweet. When I have all my Ballast on the tractor, I can out pull tractors nearly double the HP.

Hopefully they will be tunable... If the E41 controller is anything like the 2013+ dodge/cummins ECM, its going to be a massive challenge for the aftermarket to conquer. But we've definitely got some incredibly smart guys in the Duramax camp, so Im not going to say flat out it will be "impossible" to tune. :) :thumb:

From what Ive been able to find, they are keeping the CP4.2, but its a 2nd-generation improved design. Also, I THINK they are moving away from piezo injectors and going back to the traditional CRIN3-22/25 solenoid injectors. Injection pressures could be either 2200 bar (32,000psi) or 2500 bar (36,000psi), if Henry's documentation is correct in stating that they are infact using the CP4-25.

Why are they gonna steer away from the piezo injectors? I thought they were the bees knees?
