As a few of you noticed I have a crew square body in my possession now.

What you don’t know are the details.

79, power windows and locks, ac cab, yada yada.
Ve 12v Cummins, nv4500.

Truck has been on the road before and the swap is decent. Just has some places they got lazy and cut a corner or two but that’s fixable.

Someone robbed the Dana 60 and put a 10 bolt in its place but that’s whatever.

Not to sure it wasn’t a 2wd conversion but that’s yet to be determined.

It’s been shortened to a short bed already.

It runs and will drive with a new transfer case crossmember and driveshafts installed.

I have a laundry list of stuff I want to do to it so I’m. Just document here because I don’t really care for squarebody forums to much other than info.

It’s got a 6” on it now and I plan to lower it down some to about a 4” and do big wheels and wide tires.

It’s just going to be a tow rig for my boat so it doesn’t need to be to fancy.

The ones I have been in have actually been fairly comfy. Supportive yet not too hard.

Do those seats sit up high, like almost too high? A lot of the bucket seat conversions I've seen seem to leave the seats up too high if they're on the swapped seat's tracks & mounts.
