Sounds like one of the clutches missed the splines on the ring gear. Usually happens to the C3 clutch pack during assembly.

Would it whine like that every time it shifted in those gears if that's what is wrong with it? It only whines every now and then I was messing with tow haul and it was louder when it whined. That video is actually the loudest I've ever heard it. It's usually real faint.

If I'm correct; the top C3 clutch is floating around. I've seen this happen and heard this noise many times. Most times the cause was leaving out the steel spacer under the big plastic washer on the planet. Stacking more than stock number of clutches in C3 needs to have a .100 spacer to raise it high enough to support the top C3 friction clutch plate. Without the spacer, the top plate just spins around unsupported by spline and often make the noise in your video.

So I will be pulling it out to fix that issue now. I also replaced the E Valve spring because I was getting the p1711 code. It went away and now it's back but only does it every now and then. Should I get a new valve body or try cleaning/boring it out again?

That's if you haven't hurt the valve or the bore when you fixed it the other times.

The bore on the E shift valve is 2 different sizes. There is a few thousands difference on the bottom portion of the bore. Heavy sanding will ruin the valve body.

Last time I didn't bore it with the reamer tool I just cleaned and worked the valve/plug in and out for 30 min and added the heavy spring. I have the tool now though.
