i ordered a Airdog 2 today, will post up pictures once i receive it and get it installed.

quick question would the airdog have a problem pushing fuel through 3 filters? i have a stock, then a aux. one underneath the hood.

If you want to get the most out of your FASS / AirDog you should filter pre-pump and run straight from the unit to CP3

Filtration is the same but the Air Separation will be maintained.... Every Elbow, restriction, or obstruction from the Fass / Airdog will re-introduce Air into the fuel.....

Entrained air is hard on injectors at high RP

the FASS was never tested to take the air out of the fuel. it was also never tested to improve the fuel spray. all the pics that FASS had was from the fuel preporator. which was desinged by charlie the father.

i have pages of court transcripts that show that and more.

YAwn.....

Ok:

Just to keep it interesting: I am also looking at a TTS single lift pump and a Nictane pre-filter...or an AD100. Both set ups are priced similarly
.
Which one would you go for and why..??

Thats the Jr starter kit:baby: It will pump out the fuel at a whopping 3-5psi at idle and drop from there.

There AD will chew up and spit out the TTS pump;)

I'm not racing..not sled pullin..or other doing any other cojone amplifying antics. LOL :D
Just dont want to lose prime, nor do I want that lag when I need to pass someone on a 2 lane hwy. ON the other hand, if in fact what AirDog claims to do by removing vapour and entrained air along with being a lift pump as well is true..then maybe that is the best way to go..?

I am just real cautious and reluctant to buy into something unless I know for sure I am getting my $$ worth and that the product performs as it is advertised to do...regardless of the price.

So, I ask you guru's and experts and D'max engineers here this question. Does it (AirDog), in fact actually do what it advertises to do in removing air and vapour from the fuel system pre cp3.....????

Thanx,

theo

Newb question: I'm currently running stock (with future plans on adding a programmer/tuner). I'm interested in the AD/FASS, but is it worth buying for a stock application. Will I see any MPG improvements and what are the drawbacks of installing such a system. Will I need any other upgrades prior to this installation? Thanks for any input.

Adding a lift pump to any Duramax is a good thing it will help make the CP3 last longer as it will not have to pull the fuel to it.

Can't say you will get any MPG from it but cleaner fuel is always better.
