Well I'd say the 1st hook was a success. We missed taking 1st place by .2" last night in the 3.0 ODL/SS class. I was a little nervous because we changed the truck up pretty good since the last hook.

Some of the bigger changes we've made over the past 2 weeks
-6 33x12.50s instead of 4 33x14.50s
-bigger charger with all new charge pipes
-air/water intercooler
-electric fans
-3" body lift so i can actually get on and off the track now :roflmao:

Truck looks good.

I would have Tony sit in the truck and see what he can do then go from there.

I already asked him if he could retard the timing and fuel the piss out of it down low before it pushes through the brakes so i could get more heat to the manifolds, up pipes, and charger but he said he didn't understand what I was asking so i don't know.

To much fuel can be counter productive for spool you "put the fire out" I would let him do his thing in person if he will and see if he can get it to spool quicker.

You just gotta let him do what he does best bud. it's never going to be an s475 again, because of the extra rotating mass, but you know that.

I know but I feel like it can still be a little better than it is. It takes about 45 seconds to get the egts up to 1200

The converter plays a huge part. Once I changed to my current precision converter spooling was much easier. Also are you spooling with the air to water pumping?? Mine comes to life much quicker if I leave the pump off until about 1000*.

I'm running a DPC 3000 rpm stall now and didn't turn the air/water pump on untill the charger was fully lit.
