LB7 plug is M22x1.5. I bought a standard hex pipe plug from MidState Bolt for $5.

A boost tap would be an excellent idea.....

I like how MMLMM is coming to the fore with this. Dang good ideas.

I looked around today at the AIH, and had a question.

In the first pic there is the green plug where my finger is pointing. Is that the sensor for the incoming air temp?

Also in the second pic, under the little black cap on the top of the AIH is a red power cable, to power the heater, mike is this the same in your LMM?

I never made these because JK has always supplied them. He has always be respectful enough not to copy my stuff, so I won't do it to him. I'll always have respect for inovators own ideas and products. I think I'm a dieing breed.

theres many ways to do something, but in the end were doing exactly the same thing. Don't think I am copying anyone. I started with cutting the top of mine off with a saw, then dis-assembling it so it was only a spacer. Its at this point I decided I and most others would want to do it in a non-"hack-job" kinda way.

I didn't mean you man. I meant for the LB7s. So sorry. I'm only referencing me.

Update!!!!!!!!!!

Here is the prototype. I made it from a stock heater grid.

The ones I am making will be cut on a waterjet and wont have the squares in the corner. They will look much nicer and cleaner.

looks really good mike! Add me to your list. Maybe a beta tester? :D

I assume the 2 ports 90* from each other are either to be used for the drugs or boost tap?

the holes in the one shown are from the bolts holding the element in. The ones I am having made will not have holes in them, unless you want me to tap one in for ya where ever you want.

It will make a good boost connection without having to tap into your stock pieces.

plenty of room, is it good to place 3 nozzles that close? if so, you are golden
When i installed my labonte nozzels, i did them 90* of each other, so on this application it could be placed on the lower left side and one on the upper middle/right.

I am not sure about mounting them that close thats why it is still in the box and also am undecided about wanting it on my truck. If anyone knows about the effects of mounting the nozzles that close please chim in:hello:
