Man I hope you find something. That's EXACTLY what mine sounds like.

I was hoping the OP would find it first! I don't have a v2 or a way to disable individual injectors. I just got home from work now so hopefully will have a couple hours to dig into it. I'll let you guys know what I come up with

I just swapped 6 & 8 with 7 & 5. Knock is still on the drivers side. Really does sound like the valves, I guess I was just in denial about taking the valve cover back off.

The injector tips had an awful lot of soot on them for being run for about 30 minutes since I put them back in. Also, I'm getting a pulsing or pumping type sound at the air filter, i tired to capture it in my second video. Could those be a sign of the valve lash being off?

Definetly. On mine I had to take the passenger head back off because I had a valve not seating but mine was a LOUD thump. I still have that pumping noise you are describing though. You should roll the pushrods on a flat surface and make sure they are straight if you pull it back apart.

Ya that's the plan. Had a couple hours to do it yesterday, flew through getting it apart then stripped the valve cover bolt on the drivers side up against the firewall. Ended up getting it off by beating on it from the fender well with a pry bar and hammer, but that killed the rest of the daylight.

I should have some time tomorrow afternoon to get the valve cover off and re do the valve lash.

Id put regular bolts back in. I'm going to buy a 5mm flex head Allan from snapon for when I take mine back apart. A buddy of mine whose done dozens of lb7 injector jobs says that saves more time than you can imagine.

Sorry it took me so long to update this. Haven't had much time to mess with the truck lately. But, finally figured it out last night. All it was was a loose injector #7. Sound has gone away and everything is normal now.
