I will neither confirm nor deny how fast I have or haven't driven in my truck.

Finding tires that have a decent weight rating AND a decent speed rating is a pain. I special ordered my last set of BFGoodrich All Terrains, but even then, they are only good to 115 (officially...).

I can neither confirm nor deny that my big-ass crew cab will do north of 130 on the stock motor with a basic 425HP tune. :baby:

And I can confirm that I have been way to chicken to find out what it will do with the new turbo :eek:

You can not confirm or deny without posting a speed.

The speedometer only goes up to 120, but if anyone wants to do the math, I have seen 3700 RPM in 6th gear with 285/70-17 tires.

The math says 158 MPH

Edit: You didn't take a log? One of the abuse runs on the stock engine/transmission:

You can see it slip a bit in 5th as I try to roll back into power. Sorry Mike. If my trans was a mess inside when you built it, this was part of the reason :spit:

It wasn't something I had planned on doing, and after the fact, it didn't seem like such a good idea to do it again. That was on a stock motor with a set of MPI twins. To say the EGTs were a little hot would be an understatement. My EGT gauge was pegged for quite a while on that one.

Anybody have any idea what might have happened, I put a new cold air box on my truck and it takes forever for it to get to power, then is put an edge evolution in and it still happens, once it warms up it gets back to normal but there is no bottom end power! Any Ideas?

Get with your tuner, your MAF needs to be rescaled!
