Got that CD! :D Guess I should pilfer through it, huh?!?!

Question... I've yet to see any pics of the engine mounts. Specifically, where and how they attach to the frame. Ditto for the front crossmember.

All the pics I've seen, the mounts are either out of view or the engine's just sitting in the bay on stands.

Do you have any showing the engine mounts and front cross member?

That CD you bought shows a relocated factory crossmember with mounts welded on.

As for my truck, I bolted my crossmember up without taking any pictures. It is too low to get pictures now & will have to wait until the suspension starts to go together. I set it nearly on the floor so I could work on the body/interior without climbing in the truck or laying on the fenders. I'll get some pictures when I can get underneath it.

Very interesting so far. I cant believe you fit the newer HVAC ducting into the old truck.

I still cannot believe I got the heater box to fit either.

As for the dash, I am trying to get it all in the old housing. Looks to be possible... but I have a lot of fitting ahead of me. Hopefully this weekend I will make some more progeress.

Looks like I will have to use a 1.5din receiver as the factory double din will not fit.

There will be a lot of molding to get all the pats in, but i think it wll look good in the end.

After I get the parts mocked up I can add all the Dyamat & permanently mount everything.

Make a mold of that sucker before it's painted so you can make a copy of it that I can buy. Seriously, if you would even just make a mold, not even hafta make the actual bezel, I'd gladly buy it from you.

You are doing amazing!

2 days of filling & 3 days of sanding so far, plus another few days of finish work, then paint.... Not sure I could afford to sell these for $2000 ea....

Never tried any fiberglass molds before.....

Hopefully in a few weeks I'll have a finished dash to show off.
