Way I see it too is the ones going this fast are owned by shops/ being built to showcase products. Not all = but most that at least I, am hearing about
the new LML dmax better be something fierce, otherwise its back to third place for the dmax guys.
cummins is getting efilive support
the ford 6.4 is certainly proving to be a runner
the new ford 6.7, while complicated, I think once the aftermarket figures it out will be a monster. It is getting a Bosch fuel injection system (not siemens like the 6.4) so who knows, EFILive might even support it too if it uses the same EDC-16 controller as the LBZ/LMM.
What left does the duramax have over the other two? Nothing really..

GM needs to take the next step and go to ultra high injection pressure. 100k+ psi (CP3 feeding a unit injector) before we will see another step like the 6.5 to the 6.6
