I don't disagree, my thought was since OP stated he is capable of his own machine work it could be done for almost nothing but his time and be some added insurance. I also almost omitted main studs since I don't think they are necessary for a 700hp build, but they are nice that they are reusable and not TTY. As we all know 700hp may be the target now but after a while everyone gets thirsty for more so a little cheap insurance isn't a bad thing. But that seems to be the conundrum of a budget build is where do you stop, because at some point you know you'll want to push it and even a budget built motor is a lot of $$$ to risk.
