So pretty much all the top runners were running a ED charger? I cant imagine they were even that different than the Bullseye chargers in this particular race. Made for a really cool day of racing. It was great to meet you Matt, I'll see you in a few months:hug:

Great meeting you and the crew too. You guys made my day each time you rolled by! Wrong...... funny as hell, but so wrong:thumb:

o gotchya, I saw you but I had no idea who it was. Jason (Custom8726) convinced me to get the Escalade but he couldnt make it with us. We were glad he did convince us because we all agreed it was well worth the money. I paid $1000 for 5 days to beat the hell out of it and have a great story to tell, Thank you Hertz:woott::spit:

Did you guys put it back to stock or leave it tuned so that the next person who rents it gets a surprise?

we put it back to stock. one nut for the exhaust flange and 2 flashes and it was tame as a......cougar:spit:

sorry Ben, I had to say it:roflmao:

I really wished Jesse Bubb emailed me back last week, I had asked him for a tune. Kyle and Ben ended up trying to figure it out on their own and we made some good headway but we couldnt get it to do better than a 2.2-2.3 60ft. brake boosting, dropping the hammer...didnt matter...there has to be some more torque management tables that we didnt find.

Thanks Josh. Clipped billet, 400 frame. Got the old girl down to 6040 lbs!

Again great show Matt, awesome performance. Do you have any idea what your egt's were going through the traps? What TC were you using and would a looser TC helped you to stage without pulling through the brakes?

I have talked to Rob about the idea of a brake controlled throttle stop so to speak to aid in the launch. We use to use a version of it on the LB7, it was the Max Payne (Ben Canty) mod. Rob said it doesn't work too well on the highly modded LBZ and LMM's due to the torque tables you have to use and very difficult to control the modded trucks.

Congrats again Matt! Flat out amazing what you and Jeff were doing.

How did you get the truck down to 6040lbs with a rollcage? wow. There must have been some serious stripping of parts going on. Milkcrate for a seat?

I've never run a .4 pro tree before. What was that like?

As for Ben....if you've never seen him at a GTG before, well......its an experience. He really is one fun guy to be around, esp when he starts drinking.:roflmao:

I meant that in a good way, guys. Ben is usually fun to be around.

Usually? Im a little different than I was 5 years ago

I had a great time down in florida, I couldnt have asked for a better time with my good buddies Kyle and Tim.

It was great meeting a lot of people and putting names to faces.

Skintback and the rest of the guys are a fun crew, good times at Wing House.

The only person who I was pretty surprised at was "joe hill". Now first of all I have NO idea who the hell he is or what his forum screen name is but he was a straight up douche. Eric introduced him to me and when I gave him a firm handshake and eye contact like any guy should, he gave me a dead fish handshake and didnt even look at me. He just stood there like a boner in sweatpants and looked at the ground and then away to his side. And when Eric jokingly said "oh come on Joe, you were talking so much shit about him and all the things you'd say to ben/duratothemax if you ever met him in person!!".

I was sitting there laughing saying "whats wrong dude, I dont care...you arent going to hurt my feelings!! what were you gonna say???". He just mumbles something and turns and walks away and he avoided me for the rest of the day. Like I said I have absolutely no idea who he is but he obviously has a problem with me for some reason???

If someone has a problem with me, you have my permission to tell me things you want to say to my face. I really dont care. Or at least tell me your forum screen name so that I know im actually talking to "superawesomedmax1234", so I can think back if Ive ever had an online argument with you or not...

Brayden- not sure why you were avoiding me buddy, whenever Id walk over near your group. I dont bite. :D
