I would take that dyno number with a grain of salt because the truck was shifting gears.
you do not want it to shift at all. Lock out 6th. run it in 5th gear.
4th gear is for The 5 speeds. they probably didnt even know you had 6 spd. hahaha
I've always heard that you need to run vehicles in drive (1:1) on a dyno, but what is the reason the results are off otherwise. Can't you just divide the multiplication of the other gears out and get the same result?4th gear is for any allison. 5th can load the turbos more, but will be off of true.
Gillet's dyno is notoriously stingy. And matt definitely knows what he is doing. Not his first rodeo.

How can it not shift you cannot start out in 4'th can ya? Anyway 4th gear is what you want 1:1 . 5th gear or higher will yield higher numbers.
