Alrighty so i started tearing down the truck today to put the 4094 on. worked on it about 2 hours and got all the heat shields off and alot of shit out of the way. My question is i got all the bolts out of the downpipe but how in the blue hell do you get it out? every way i try i cant get it out. Also i broke a damn bolt off in the driverside manifold, Any suggestions?

pull the turbo to get the down pipe. shove it down to the pass side so you can get hte bolt for the up pipe to pedastals. i slid it our and out between the pass frame and t-bars. tranny dipstick needs to be loose as well.

driver side manifold meant the log manifolde the goes from the head to the up pipe? could pull the manifold drill it out

all exhaust gaskets are reuseable ;)

i pulled the tranny dipstick out so its out of the way. Do you think 2 bolts will hold that up pipe to the manifold for now? im going to put a BD one on but just dont have the $$$ right now. I dont feel like pulling it twice.

I would fimd something to use temporary for the flanges.perhaps small vice grips? or make something

I think it will leak with only 2 bolts,But i hope it doesnt

Take the DP out through the inner fender....you'll have to piddle with it for a while but it will go....but take the heat shield off it first

alrighty guess i will drill and tap it. I have extra bolts from the downpipe. It looks like the downpipe bolt are the same ones used on the up pipes. i just have to take it off and try and tap it. What a bitch

well i got it almost done. ordered the BD manifold so it should be here in a few days. Only thing really left is to put on the manifold, hook up coolant lines to turbo, and fab a intake. what did everyone use to fab a intake? i see some people used 4" pvc. Install was actually easier then i thought. I have about 8 hours in everything and its the first time i ever pulled one. Anyone need a stock IHI turbo :D it has 63,000 easy miles on it, never seen a programmer
