I Need Help Guys! I Was Looking At Getting The Cognito Leveling Kit, But Im Thinking Its Not Gonna Be High Enough For Me! I Dont Know If I Could Get 4 Inches Witha Cognito Leveling Kit And Keys And Still Have A Soft Ride! Tuff Country Has A 4 Inch Lift For About $1,200. BUT I STILL LIKE THE 6 INCH LIFT. POST PICS IF YOU HAVE ANY!

Personally - I like leveled look and 4" lifts. If you want to run bigger than 33s for wheels though, the 6" will look good.

Really personal choice.

I would eventually like to have a 4" lift, but I have to get rid of the 5th wheel I currently have b/c I wouldn't have enough clearance with a lift and I can't imagine hoisting my son into his car seat with a 4" lift.

As for which lift - never done one so I can't tell ya what works best.

Here is a pic of a 4" Cognito lift we did on a Long Bed red 07 Dmax

I like the cognito because of the non-torsion bar drop that is available. Very cool kit, in my opinion.

This is my 4" TC with 33x12.5's and only about one turn in the TB's. I like the lift because the CV's are in a good place for pulling/drag. I could fit 35's If I crank the bars, and use a 3" block instead of the 2".

That looks good! But i thought it was better to drop the torsion bars (less strain)

The way the kit is setup, it doesn't place anymore strain on the torsion bar at all in my opinion. The way they did the lift, they added a 3rd control arm and mounted the support brackets to the lower control arm.

Another advantage to running the 4" T.C. is you get a full 4" drop so your CV angles are always good for the strip/pulls.. The 6" lift only drops the front 4 3/4" so you still need to ajust your torsions for ideal angles. I do like the 6" / 35" combo the best for looks but for looks aswell as function my vote is the 4" / 33" combo...

Custom8726- You have wrong information on running the stock rims with a T.C. lift! I have my M&H drag radials mounted on my stock PYO's and they work perfectly without any mods/spacers (picture below)...

Here is my truck with the 6" RCD kit and 315 Nitto's. It doesn't ride too bad, a bit bumpy at times but better than my old 3/4 ton.
