I called CCI about the front driveshaft and they said the driveshaft would not hold up for racing.
This is was Jamie @ CCI told me:
If the shaft you broke is a 1310 series then yes ours will withstand more torque. We have sold a few of these 3r series front driveshafts. Have not broke one yet. We have one in a duramax with over 1000 hp that the guy uses just for a pulling truck. he has been using it now for about 7 years. As far as running at high speed with no vibration he can because he has actually a c.v. at t-case and at pinion. Some of the new lifts you can actually make a c.v. and a single u-joint smooth because you are able to adjust your front pinion angle. With a c.v. at t-case and single u-joint at pinion the single u-joint should run no angle at all. All the angle should be ran at c.v. If You can make this happen the you can use a double single. If not then you need a double double to be smooth. So u have to let me know if you need a driveshaft with 1 or 2 c.v.'s. Let me know of any other questions or concerns. sincerely Jamie
My CCI shaft is still holding up after a few pulls and races. But I cant promise if it would work as good for your setup.
