Well kids after removing the cross member for the old driveshaft the new one slid right in. Then after battling a little transmission fluid leak she move out of and back into the garage under its own power!

There has been many trials and tribulations with the truck. It also doesn't help that I have only been home on the weekends due to my job so I haven't had much time really to work on it. An hour here and an hour there doesn't add up to much being accomplished when you spend 20 minutes trying to remember and walk through where you left off.

It has been running and driving but very little. I think maybe 400 miles this summer.

Maybe tonight I'll be able to start it and let it idle for about 15 minutes so it can charge the battery after sitting for about a month and a half at the last stretch.

What are some issues your dealing with?

High and low pressure fuel leaks, burnt up dual CP3 controller, burnt wiring, boost leaks, tuning issues. It's been interesting to say the least. And of course as you do things you think of other things you were going to do later would just make sense to do now because your half way there.

Hey I've even removed one of my wire bail connectors and re loomed my wiring harness. :thumb:

I would love a rclb 2wd but a zf of coarse. I live for highway runs wear 4x4 doesn't matter as much.

I thought about a 2wd ZF6 even was to the point of discussing price but decided I couldn't row gears as fast as an Allison can shift. But it sure would have been a blast!

Hell I won't even buy a 4wd. You inspired me to buy one and build it as my dd. Hopefully it'll be done in the next couple of months. Glad to hear yours is getting there.

Well fall is quickly approaching and time is running out to have it on the road for much longer. There is a local dyno day in October I hope to at least drive it to the event and would dyno it but I can wait until next year to hit the drag strip. I'm not a big fan of dynos because they don't tell me what my truck can truly do on the street.

This sux I hate my 4x4 lol

It would have to be a rclb maybe a dually huge single!

I've always wanted to do a RCLB with a super single!

Well for the most part everything is ironed out but the tuning. These 100% injectors and my S475 are just not wanting to work together. I might concede and have a tuner build me a tune.

I think having a professional build a tune will make a big difference. What actual issues are you having? For me shift point tuning made a night and day difference.
