Wow, this took off over the weekend.

I run 30/14.0 M&H slicks I paid about $200 each and tubes were another $70 each, used rims for $150 a pair , 60' times 2.0,2.1. Cant break into the 1.x yet, 6000ft above sea level.

I do a small burnout to knock the rocks off the slicks and get some heat in the compound, I have a starting line video I will try to post.

I plan to move the fuel tank and Batt to the rear of the truck behind the rearend to help with transfer.

Has anyone built a drive shaft loop? I would like to build one for my own peace of mind, not required at Bandimere yet.

That is the same tire I have on stock pyo's with wheel screws and no tube's.My setup is rancho 9000's set at 3 in front and 9 in back,M&H's,2in shackle in the back with no overload, leveled in the front by the bars and cal-tracs with 1/4 preload.

So Cal.
with my slicks I went from 2.1 to consistent low 1.8 sixties.. Slicks help

1.72 is the best so far for me. I have ran as fast as 11.6x @118mph on Diesel #2 only with stock injectors/ 2 wheel drive slicks.

Well we don't do burnout's with them. So I can't help you there.

Thats no fun.....

all you need to do is heat them up and get a little smoke rolling off of them and thats all...

Where is the fun in that???

Well that is debatable also:D

We run ET Streets on the corvette. I can't do the 3 ft shuffle so I don't do a burnout. Pat does a big a$$ burnout because he thinks it's fun.. Who do you think cuts better 60ft times?

Me most times :hello:

now were talking!!!!!

quick haze of the tires to get allt he rocks and crap off them that i pick up getting to the water box

:rolleyes::screwy::driving:

I started at 15psi and dropped down to 12psi. Tire has not moved on the rim. Could go lower and screw the rim to the slick?

I have been down to 9.5lbs

possible... mark the tire/rim to see if they slip or not..

next major thing is less tire pressure means less stability at the top end of hte track..

Correct! it gets to be a handfull at times. Especially when there is oil at 3/4 track.

12psi on a slick? Wow I run 25

Have you tried less?

Here is a video of some fun at the track... Slow run though.. I usually run 7.5-7.6 @95+mph
