The rear would twitch, which started the directional change, and when he grabbed the wheel, it whipped back and forth.

Appears tagging the left rail rang his bell, because as he crosses the track, he steers straight at the rail and hits the throttle.

Ouch! It almost seems to me that he let off too much also when he started to lose it--major weight transfer like Chris mentioned earlier.

The rear would twitch, which started the directional change, and when he grabbed the wheel, it whipped back and forth.

Appears tagging the left rail rang his bell, because as he crosses the track, he steers straight at the rail and hits the throttle.

When the rear kicks out to the left and points the truck toward the near side wall he:

1. Chops the throttle

2. Yanks the wheel one hard throw to the left. His front sport tires respond like he's racing an Indy car, pointing the truck to the far side wall.

The truck does this:

1. Low psi slick quit spinning and hook like they are glued to the track. The sidewall flex delays the "hook" of the tire long enough for him to have the front of the truck pointed almost straight.

2. The rear tires sidewall fold over the opposite direction the throttle chopping burnout had them facing and veer the truck toward the far wall. He is out of control and only along for the ride at this point.

3. Truck hits wall and somehow sticks the pump or throttle wide fucking open! The left front wheel and all the suspension crush from the impact of the wall and turn the truck back toward the near wall.

Did I mention this truck had the throttle stick WFO from a frontal impact? It was either driver error or mechanical error....either way...this is very unsafe however you look at it! The impact should have shut that truck off!!!

4. Under FULL POWER...the truck drag races across the track and plows through the near side wall...becoming air born....and landing sideways under FULL POWER slinging dirt in the air and flipping over. While in the air and rolling over UNDER FULL POWER the underside of the truck hits a telephone pole and pushes it over. The truck then lands UNDER FULL POWER and lurches forward another 20 feet before a stroke of luck shuts down the motor.

Had the motor not actually died at that point....it might still be runaway at the track killing innocent bystanders.

Two lifesaving behaviors at the race track:

1. Know how to control your truck.

2. Be sure your safety equipment works well enough that you don't put yourself and others in danger.

Friends don't make friends drive street trucks with roll cages.:)
