If you have alot flying into KCI you might want to find something halfway between the track and were there all staying to cut down on the drive for them. there is alot of places to eat around here.

If you have alot flying into KCI you might want to find something halfway between the track and were there all staying to cut down on the drive for them. there is alot of places to eat around here.
Anyone flying into MCI or driving passed Kansas City around 2 o clock? We need a ride to the hotel or track so i can get my truck... most of the people i know wont be at the airport till 6, so if anyone is heading into topeka early, or knows of a cheap shuttle, pls let me know!

Have you talked to the hotel yet?? Most of the ones I stay at have a free shuttle....but not sure of this one....assuming you are staying at the Holliday Inn as well??

ok there is a shuttle, thanks uncle ken, kci roadrunner, $45 a person to the hotel.

Ouch 45 a person. Just to go from KCI to I take it your staying what 40 mins away in Topeka close to the track then you have your truck to drive.How many people do you have with you flying in?
there is a hooters right off of i70, theres also Jeremiah Bullfrogs Bar & Grill off wanamaker, Skinny's Sports Bar & Grill off huntoon st, and theres wildhorse saloon not too far from the track....o and theirs also a strip club close to the track as well 
i live not too far from topeka so i could make reservations or whatever if we figure out a place to go. :beer2:

Ouch thats pretty pricey for a shuttle. I'll be at the hotel early....just not sure when, with the long drive I have....don't wanna promise you a ride and not be there on time.

there we go...some Kansas residents who know the area. Looked up a place called Blind Tiger?
never been there. hooters would probably be the easiest tho, its literally right off of i70 on the north side of town

Lol yeah know the feeling...looks like its an "Electric Cowboy"....visited one of those down in Arkansas.
Me, my mom and gramma, it looks like its only $100 for the weekend to rent a car. We're staying at the Holidome or whatever, so thats close to I70 from what i can understand, I dont mind hooters at all, but we have them in Canada too so it wouldnt be too exciting lol
Yeah Kinda my thoughts too.....Nice to visit somewhere I've never been to when I visit another state.
