Been rained on the last three times at Topeka. Still was some good racing. Maxed Out set a street tire record 9.94 @ 138mph. Super Street should be interesting.

Rain postponed eliminations halfway through the second round until today.

A guy i know that went told me the orange reg cab shortbed dodge from canada blew something on the trans and oiled the track.

Yep, It was the C-T orange shortbed dodge that oiled down with tranny fluid at about the 1/8 mile. Got to talk to mightymousemalibu for a few minutes and got to check out alot of trucks i have read about on here. Had a good time all and all, too bad the weather did'nt cooperate. I left about the time MAXD OUT was getting ready to run in eliminations. I looked behind me and seen the rain coming and by the time i made it to Gary Ormsbey drive it was raining pretty good. Drove in rain until i got north of K.C. and then the skys cleared out.

I know Rob also ran a 9.77 I believe on street tires in the other class yesterday too. I was really hoping to see him in the finals with the slicks bolted up yesterday but hopefully he gets to do it today. Stayed until they stop it for rain yesterday then had to head home. Not 100% sure on the 9.77 may have been a 9.78 but I know it was quicker than his other 9 second pass. Alot of Elite sponsored trucks there. Kelsie did one hell of a job on the burn out contest! Love the way her trucks sits lowered down like it is. Seen her put the spank on her opponet in the first round of eliminations too:thumb:

Had a good time! We ate at the Blind Tiger on the way back, pretty good place! Good beer too, perhaps a reason to head up north more! I had my eyes peeled for forum members, i never did find ya Jordan! I was waitin to see a Deuce in the parking lot:rofl:
The side by side dodge blow-up made one hell of a mess. Wish i'd seen the rest of the race but the airshow in Wichita today was killer:thumb: Im a hardcore aviation nutcase so i split my weekend into diesel power and air power:angel:

Any news on how the racin went today?

Me and the Wife had a great time meeting up with everyone.

Too bad the weather was crappy, we had to be back home early so we didn't get to stay for the makeups.

Was kinda wishing the Burnout and Show and Shine would have been held off until the racing was done.

Even though Kelsea did one hell of a burnout. It was funny because the announcer was standing in front of the truck waving at her to stop, but I dont think she could see him from all of the smoke lol.

The orange dodge lost ALOT of fluid. Good racing and nice to see Rob break some records. Hopefully next year it will be nicer.
