Who's is it? Don't know how to work that voodoo so I can't help you. If you could download it then upload it again somewhere. I don't know if fb lets you embed their videos.

Probably had a 25-30% CF on it too. Still makes a lot of power but meh, I don't care about it.

Shift spike. ;) I agree with you about caring....

Id still like to know how the hell he (or Mr. Gauges) affords any of it. Nothing cheap about a high-hp diesel.

I know that there's seemingly not much value here, but it's my hope that by these guys pushing the numbers into the stratosphere that it will help the development of products/tuning for us mere mortals with 650hp DD's to have more longevity . I might be overly optimistic, lol.

Thanks for finding the video for me. I am on a fishing trip all weekend. Haven't had time to find it. Just happened to see it on facebook and wanted some opinions. I still think it's pretty impressive. I hear about dodges clearing 2k all the time but don't see many Chevrolets doing the same. This helps push the bar further and draw more attention to our platforms. People see that these numbers can be had and help come up with ways to push them harder and harder.

Do you really think that the original 5.9 cummins just came out with 2000k hp? No, people have showed others what theyre capable of and spiked their intrest. People come up with new ways to push all these engines as hard as we do now.

All I'm really trying to say is stuff like this helps our industry a lot more than it hurts. Wether it be on drag strip or not. This guy could've figured something out no one has thought of yet that could change everything. (Probably not) But you never know.

I will be sitting here

I've been wondering if these guys that make 2K numbers on the dyno do they even come close to running this much at the track? or do they turn them back down to 12-1300 range to make a pass and keep things alive?

Randy made 1950hp on the dyno and put 1750hp of it down the track no problem. 9.6@150 weight 7680lbs. Lavon only put about 1450hp down the track. No way that truck could handle much more power without losing control, he weights 4500lbs though.

Exactly. To put down the power Randy did was amazing! Dedicated drag trucks don't need more than they can put down. Ryan Miliken's turbo setup is good for 1500-1600 hp on fuel. That has to be more efficient that Baca's setup that can make 2000+. That's why these guys don't drag race. Dedicated dyno queens is all.
