Never touched them, this motor has had shit for oil pressure since 10k miles, I’ve lost a total of 5-7 psi since then. I lost 3-5 since the new pistons but I’m running Napa Dino oil and filter instead of amsoil and ac delco until I’ve put 500 miles on it.

How do I read oil pressure with my autocal?
I run my autocal to my laptop and read it there.

Another, stuff isn’t nearly that big, it’s very very fine, just looks huge where I had to zoom in. That’s the second filter change in 400 miles, I cut the filter apart and there was nothing in it so I’m assuming that’s shit that was left in the oil cooler or where I roughed up the cylinders before I put the other pistons in, or..... bunch of junk took the bearings out.

I had the oil too full earlier, drove the truck with it a quart low and oil pressure is 5-8 psi higher, makes no sense.

Reger I checked a couple times now, I'm roughly at 30psi at warm/idle, goes to
60 when accelerating. 2k rpm sees about 32psi

Pulled both filters apart, no aluminum that I saw, so I’m going to assume the copper is left over from the cracked piston wrist pin bushing, gonna slap some amsoil in it tomorrow or Sunday and let the good times roll til it cracks another piston, locks up or windows the block.

Now this has me curious to watch mine a little more. I know when it’s hot idling it’s down right at 20 psi. And cruising right at 50 - 55 depending on rpms.

I’m going to order an edge insight and run, I went on a rampage this morning and had the motor at 200* and the trans at 210 (50* outside) and pressure still went to 55 above 2300 rpm, gauges are junk IMO.

Stop worrying until you get digital read out from the ECM. My truck will set right where yours is on the gauge, but logging will show in the 50's cruising down the highway. Every LMM I've been in, after up to operating temp, stays right there on the gauge for the most part

Yeah I’m going to order a CTS. I changed the junk Napa oil out for some delo 400 just to see what it’s going to look like in 200 miles, this oil had 480 miles and was already black.

Pressure came way up after oil change, so who knows. Temp gauge is actually pretty accurate now, fuel gauge shows less than a quarter tank when it still has 13-14 gallons left still, think leaving the ecm dead for 8 months made it coocoo.
