TX of course
I like the tall bedsides. It keeps stuff in the bed out of sight. It also pisses me off then my guys reach over the side of my truck to get something, because they scratch up the side of my truck. Now they can’t reach it and have to drop the tailgate like they should.

Bingo...

I'll take out your knees if I catch you up on a tire trying to take a short cut around tailgate...

Someone on my route must work at Milford, b/c I saw a 1500 Chevy with mfg plates today. It was blue with black trim and the grill crossbar was body colored. The truck looked better in person than in those pics.

I hated the 2019 body on the 1500 at first. Then my brother bought a trail boss in all black, not half bad

Saw a 2020 Chevy HD today on our side of town. It was in full camo, but for the headlights and parts of the tails. No other markings. Could tell it was a chevy by the "7" shaped driving lights, though. Looks like it has the same wheels as a current truck, same exhaust, too.

Any specs for the 10speed Allison?
Im guessing finally ratio will be about the same .61
I would assume it’s going to be more fuel efficient in towing since there won’t be such a large rpm drop but I’m curious what real world will be

I'm hoping there is a gear between 4th and 5th. That's the worst gear split in the whole transmission to me. Running 55-60 mph is a bad speed right now with the 5 or 6 speed.

With a closer ratio they will be able to keep the converter locked. Probably be no need for TH.

I would imagine TH would be more like the gear lockout then a specific shift pattern. Like you said Mike, there would be enough gears that it won't be needed

Mike L. Any intel on the 10 speed and how strong or possibly weak it will be? If it will be similar design and modifiable to hold good power?? These l5p engines are making 1500tq quite easy

No upgrade on the Duramax diesel will turn out to be a big misstake. RAM HD will show a upgraded Cummins at NAIAS in less than four weeks and that engine will be turning heads. With block in CGI. Stunning torque, and GM has no plans to respond.
