Definetly didn't take enough pics. Motor is back in the car now.

Oil pan turned out great, it holds 10 litres at oil level. And no leaks yet to be seen.

Went into the car like it was designed for it. I still am in aw over how everything fits so well using factory parts. Should have my billet torque convertor next week for the 6l90e. So in the mean time I'll dress the engine and work on the down pipe. And get a bit of a start on the wiring.

Making progress, got the trans in. Learned something new. The 6l90e in the duramaxs have a deeper bellhousings then the gas ones. So I ended up cutting a spacer plate to go inbetween.

Up pipes and down pipe done and wrapped.

Looks like I'll be able to use the same drive shaft as I did with the 4l80e. Just got lucky there.

Shifter is in and just gotta hook up the trans and make a cable bracket.

Been a while but been busy heres a much needed update!

Got intercooler piping all done. Went with 2.5 inch pipe all around and passes through my cheapo amazon intercooler. made a pad to mount the map sensor on the drivers side tube.

Also modified the factory Y-bridge, cut off the bug ugly neck, plated it in, and welded a new 2.5 inlet on to it.

Progress has been posted on my You tube channel ZED Performance: https://www.youtube.com/channel/UCXU_WCb34GNvZ9k4jrr8cAw

Ok update:

Fuel system is completed (there's a video on the YouTube aswell) I used the factory pump in the tank and gutted the regualtor, so that running it full time gave me 7 psi with the engine running. Chopped the fscm out and replaced it with a sinple relay. Turned out pretty good. I do want to upgrade to a better fuel filter. Hopefully I can find something that'll go inline to separate water/air out of the fuel. I'm not sure if the fass/air dog can take any pressure at the inlet.

One thing I did mess up on was getting rid of the return side regualtor and making a return fuel rail that is open. I did not realize the lml needed a regualted return. And as it stands the car runs but under heavy throttle the engine stalls out.

Sorry I forgot to take more pictures lol.

The return only needs to be regulated for the injectors. The injection pump doesn't need any restriction on it. The regulator on the return should be built into the fuel injector return hose assembly (it's the little round canister that clips on top of the thermostat housing). If you don't have one on your or it isn't working properly, you can buy them new from GM for less than $200.

Thanks Josh, I chucked mine in the garbage long ago had no idea. I ordered a complete injector return line set that includes regualtor. Was 170 shipped from a vendor in Canada.

btw, the fass/airdog can take incoming pressure without issue as long as its not a ton of volume and pressure that can overwhelm the regulator it uses

I measured and it's putting out about 40gph give or take. I'm not sure if I have room to put a fass somewhere but I'll be looking into it in the future.

I also found this little gem on a Kubota power unit. Would be great for swaps as long as the fittings aren't too small/restrictive.

I'd check to see if DSX has a pump that will work. That what I'm using on my RCSB. I had to buy a camero setup and splice into it for my truck but yours is the intended vehicle so it should be a breeze. You can even run a sump with it and it comes with a boost activated switch.

Injector return lines fixed! Got them from BC Diesel, good price and super quick. So I was finally able to go for a good test drive, man this thing is fun, once that turbo lights the wheels wont stop spinning. Ive got roughly a 90hp tune on the ecm now but I need to get serious seat time to dial the transmission in. But heres the link to the first drive video, its short and from the cab ill get a really good one made probably after seeding is done. Be sure to check out some of my other videos to and if you like em a sub to the channel would be really sweet. almost at 1000k no wand it would be sweet to get some youtube funds to help with more ugrades and getting to the strip this summer.

With winter here im just about ready to tear into phase two of the camaro build. Of youve seen my other posts ive been tossing around going back to a tr6060, but before that i want to make some signifocant changes to the drive train. The car has been great and i really enjoy drving it and thats something wanted to make sure before doing the next big mods.

So heres the plan, i want to go twin turbos and set the engine back about 3 inches.

My big question is sizing turbos, i have a handful of gm8 turbos here but the outlet/waste gate is just to odd for fitment. Please any suggestions appreciated.

I would like to do headers but due to realestate i think ill end up with logs.

Untill i find a 6 speed that os reasonably priced ill stick with the 6l90. End goal will be to get this thing spinning and make some cools noises with a little more wow factor.

I'm not familiar with the gm8 turbos but a quick google search for their specs says they should work okay, obviously depending on your fueling setup. I'm not sure if it helps or not but I run HE341's in a parallel setup on my LLY street rod and don't have complaints with how they come alive. Basically stock fuel system. I took the factory wastegates off the housing and tapped the housings for pipe plugs to make them non-gated. Works fine.

Biggest issue is getting a flywheel setup, OEM was dual mass
