Awesome truck, love that stance. Does it ride any different with the leafs out?

Yeah it's a little bouncier. I think the shocks are to compressed right now from it being lowered. I'll see how it rides once I get new shocks.

Looks good ken :thumb:

How does the front end right now that you removed the bolts? How much did it drop?
I've been thinking about removing mine on my dually but I don't want the front to be raked down really bad.

It's rides pretty good in the front. I'd say from the bolts being half way or so to me removing them dropped it about an 1" to 1.5"

Here is where I mounted my 165 on my reg cab. Works out sweet! I just tapped the frame 5/16-18 and bolted her up! Filters are completely hidden

I still haven't mounted it but that's where I was probably going to do it. I just swapped beds on this truck. so I'm not to excited to unhook my stack and lift the bed again. That's why I've been procrastinating on it.

I'm an idiot, sorry about that KEN
Thanks for the info :thumb:
When I do my air ride setup in the back I'll remove the bolts up front or I'll just ditch them for coils.

Really looking good, I like the look of a standard cab. Thinking about building one myself :thumb:

A little update that isn't so good. I've been having a slight coolant leak on the driver side. Found the upper radiator hose has been leaking. Also noticed coolant reservoir has been staying slightly pressurized in the morning. Upper hose isn't hard but you can tell there's some pressure in the system still. Gaskets were done about 40k ago according to the paper work I got when I bought the truck. Anyone know of any places that sell a stud and gasket kit for a decent price? Also the trans has been acting up. I don't know if it has to do with the cold weather we've had here in Michigan lately. Seems to be downshifting pretty hard on a 2-1 shift to where you can hear and feel a clunk. Not what I was wanting to deal with at the moment but I'll probably be rebuilding the trans again here shortly. When it rains it pours I guess. I haven't even got the twins installed yet. Looks like I got a lot of work ahead of me.

Worst case scenario I guess. Temp gauge has been fluctuating and I haven't been getting much heat in the cab. There's no reason the cooling system should be pressurized after it's been sitting for over 8 hrs in 10* temps. The other day I started it after sitting all day at work. It went to high idle and when I came out 10 minutes later fluid was coming out of the overflow. I would love for it to not be head gaskets. I could use the money elsewhere.

Ahh I didnt know you had all those symptoms....I would lean that way too if that was happening. Merchant sells a full kit to do em but I think it would be cheaper to get the gasket kit from them and studs from creatures of the night

Yeah I've been looking around at prices. Looking like it'll be around $1000 for parts and whatever the machine shop will charge to go over the heads. Maybe I'll get lucky and someone will be selling a set of studs on here soon. I guess I know what my tax return money will be spent on. Same as every year. Truck parts :roflmao:

I can't cross the border though. Don't have a passport or enhanced license. You'd have to come across to me lol

X3 on Henry, Cheapest price on head studs. I price A LOT of parts for customers. Might be worth the time to grab some Hamilton springs from him too (cheapest as well). Would help a lot with those twins.
